Tianyi (Mason) Chen passed his Ph.D. defense! His doctoral research focused on: “Structured Light for Data-driven Quantitative Tissue Imaging.” He has done incredible work in making SFDI more practical for clinical applications, creating GANPOP, OxyGAN, and si-SFDI. He’ll stay in the lab for a few months before starting his permanent position at Amazon. Congrats Mason!! We couldn’t be more proud of the first Ph.D. graduate from the group.
We are thankful to the National Science Foundation for an Early CAREER Award to support research on “Computational structured light imaging for widefield mapping of histologic primitives”.
